Haha I just love Degrassi! downtownsasquatch: degrassi hates interracial relationships. examples: liberty/jt have an awful relationship (pregnancy, suicide attempt) but are fine when they break-up. when he wants to get back together with her, he’s killed. emma dated damian but he ended up cheating on her with liberty because they’re both black. danny was dating leia but they break-up so he can date chantay because they’re both black. jenna dates dave but they break up and she dates KC because they’re both white. paige dates griffin but they break-up beause canada thinks all black people have AIDS. sav and anya constantly break-up because he has an arranged marriage with a muslim girl. exception: jimmy breaks up with hazel but ends up with a white girl because being crippled transcends race.
